Reny Wilfred placed under suspension

NSF demands immediate suspension of Reny Wilfred

An order issued by Dr. J Alam, Chief Secretary Nagaland has placed under suspension IAS officer Reny Wilfred currently posted as joint secretary Finance department.

The order PAR-A/06/2021-AIS dated 21st may 2025 read:

WHEREAS, a case against Shri Reny Wilfred, IAS (NL: 2015), posted as Joint Secretary, Finance Department, Nagaland in respect of a criminal offence is under investigation.


NOW, THEREFORE, the undersigned in exercise of powers conferred by sub-rule (3) of Rule 3 of the All India Services (Discipline and Appeal) Rules, 1969, hereby places the said Shri Reny Wilfred, IAS, under suspension with immediate effect.


Further, it is ordered that during the period this order shall remain in force, the Headquarters of Shri Reny Wilfred, IAS shall be P&AR Department, Government of Nagaland, Nagaland Civil Secretariat, Kohima and the said Shri Reny Wilfred, IAS shall not leave the Headquarters without obtaining the permission of the undersigned.


During the period of suspension, Shri Reny Wilfred, IAS, shall be entitled to a subsistence allowance at an amount equal to the leave salary which he would have drawn if he had been on leave on half-average pay or on half pay and in addition, dearness allowance, if admissible, on the basis of such leave salary as per the provision under clause (a) of sub rule (1) of Rule-4 of the All India Services (Discipline & Appeal) Rules, 1969.
