Union Minister for Ministry of Micro, Small & Medium Enterprises (MSME) Shri. Narayan Rane is set to inaugurate the 2nd Nagaland International Trade Expo (NITEX) on 18th January 2024 at Senden Reju, Purana bazar, Dimapur. Nagaland chief minister is also expected to grace the inaugural programme.
The first NITEX was held in 2017 which was successfully organized by the Business Association of Nagas (BAN). The second edition of NITEX is supported by the National Small Industries Corporation, Ministry of MSME, Govt of India. The Nagaland state government is also collaborating in certian areas, especially the Investment and Development Authority of Nagaland (IDAN).
The trade expo will have exhibitors from the state as well as companies from other states of India. Government departments will also participate. Panel discussions and networking sessions on Startups, Tourism and International business has also been planned. The expo will also have automobile showcase, live skills display in wood and stone carving, painting, loinloom weaving and so on. Local artists will also exhibit their talents in the evenings.
The union minister will inaugurate various projects of his ministry on 17th Jan in Dimapur and virtually inaugurate projects of other districts at the inaugural programme on 18th Jan.
