Govt. guidelines: Activities that will remain PROHIBITED until May 3

The High Powered Committee (HPC) on Covid-19, Government of Nagaland has decided to allow higher secondary schools and colleges to start from 26 July 2021.

This is a major development in Nagaland as educational institutions are being allowed to operate after a long time. HPC mentioned that vaccination is a must for staff of educational institutions.

HPC member and MLA Mmhonlumo Kikon in a Tweet mentioned that “other classes will start from 1st August”. It is not very clear what “other classes” means. Skill development institutions may be allowed to open and they create employment opportunities for youth.

HPC also mentioned that tourists who have taken two doses of vaccination will be welcome to Nagaland.

On the other hand, Unlock-3 will start from 18 July till 1st August.
