As per Nagaland health department the total number of healthcare workers to receive the vaccine in Nagaland rose to 5773 as on Wednesday.
A press release from the Health Department informed that the vaccination was conducted in all the districts and there were no reports of any adverse effects.
“The Covishield vaccine has gone through all phases of clinical trials and it has been found to be safe for use in general population. Till date, 20,29,480 healthcare workers have been vaccinated across the country by Covishield and Covaxin vaccines,” it stated.
