Nagaland MLA and Advisor for Horticulture and Border Affairs Mhathung Yanthan has tested positive for Covid-19 on Wednesday. In a Tweet, the first time MLA from 39 Sanis A/C said that “Although my COVID-19 test report came out +ve, I show no symptoms and I am doing absolutely fine. Currently I’m in home isolation and under proper care.”
Yanthan’s bodyguard is also reported to be tested positive as per the Morung Express.
Meanwhile, MLA R Khing, Advisor for Veterinary and Animal Husbandry, said that he underwent a test for COVID-19 as per the protocol for the upcoming Assembly session and the report was negative, but two of his support staff was found to be infected.
As a precautionary measure, I am on self-quarantine, adhering to the existing SOP and will continue to work from home, he said.
