Deputy Commissioner Dimapur has ordered closure of all retail shops/markets from 11 a.m. till midnight on June 5 in Dimapur town. This preventive measure is being enforced in view of the special train arriving from Bangalore at Dimapur Railway Station on June 5.
Meanwhile, Commissioner of Police has enforced total restriction of normal vehicular traffic from 5 a.m. till midnight of June 5.
However, movement of officials/personnel of health department/district administration/police and others involved in the said exercise would be exempted.
The Commissioner of Police appealed to all for cooperation in the general interest of public safety.
