Naga girl dies after falling from building in Delhi

The Eastern Nagaland Peoples Organisation (ENPO) has requested the Kohima Petroleum Dealers Association (KPDA), Dimapur Petroleum Dealers Association (DPDA), Nagaland Tanker Transport Association (NTTA) and the Oil Tanker Drivers’ Union (OTDU) to extend the 48-hour deadline served to the deputy commissioner of Tuensang district to rescue the two oil-tanker drivers abducted near Helipong vilage in Tuensang.

The general secretary of ENPO, Manlang Phom, in a telephonic conversation with Eastern Mirror, made this appeal citing convenience of the residents of the region. He informed that the ENPO will be meeting the Tuensang district administration and police officials on April 29 to discuss the issue which threatens to plunge the entire state into crisis.

“The Tuensang DC has requested the involvement of ENPO as the incident falls under our jurisdiction. And as per the request, ENPO will be meeting the district administration and police. Therefore we request the various organisations to extend the deadline served for the convenience of the public”, Phom appealed.
