Alexander Isak: Newcastle United rejects Liverpool’s opening bid of £110 million

The Alexander isak saga has finally come to an end as Newcastle United and Liverpool FC have reached an agreement for £130 Million – a British transfer record.

With just few hours left for the closure of the transfer window, this is a significant development. The Swedish international finally gets what he longed for – to play for the premier league champions.

Isak will undergo a medical on Monday before completing his move on a six-year deal.

Isak scored 27 goals in 42 appearances for Newcastle United last season, only finishing behind Liverpool’s Mohamed Salah amongst the highest goal scorers.

Liverpool have spent more than £250m this summer with Ekitike, Wirtz, Milos Kerkez, Jeremie Frimpong and Giovanni Leoni.

It is expected that Crystal Palace captain and defender Marc Guhei will also join Liverpool.
