Star Indian badminton player P.V Sindhu displayed a composed performance and easily defeated N.Y Cheung of Hong Kong China in the Women’s singles Group play stage today at the Tokyo olympics.
Sindhu won the match in straight sets – 21-9, 21-16. She now moves to the knock-out stage of the competition.
P.V Sindhu is one of India’s hopefuls to bag an Olympic medal.
