With the Lok Sabha elections 2019 inching closer, Republic and CVoter are back with the National Approval Ratings to give a picture as to who will win if polls are held today in the state of Nagaland. The state has 1 seat in its kitty.
PROJECTIONS:
1. The NDPP-BJP retains the seat in Nagaland whereas for Congress it is another loss.
2. However, the Congress has gained in terms of vote share with a marginal increase of 1.3% in 2014.
It remains to be seen for the ruling PDA alliance will again field NDPP MP Tokheho. Sources say that he will be given another opportunity as the current MP was elected few months back in a bye-election after chief minister Rio vacated his seat to contect in the assembly polls.
