Teenager earns Rs. 10 Lakh per day by posting lip-syncing videos on TikTok

Alicia Breuer

Alicia Breuer, 17, is no ordinary teenager. Breuer is putting her higher education plans on hold because she has bagged lucrative sponsorship deals with top brands.

Alicia Breuer first decided to download TikTok in 2020, she did it only to pass the time during COVID-19 lockdown. But 17-year-old from the UK is now earning a whopping Rs 10 Lakh daily due to her viral lip-syncing videos.

Breuer, a resident of Milton Keynes, Buckinghamshire, was planning to take a psychology degree initially but she has bigger plans now.

She has nearly one million followers on TikTok, and a further 195,000 followers on Instagram. Her videos mostly consist of lipsyncing to popular songs, like Katy Perry and Lady Gaga, but she also does ‘transition’ videos detailing her makeup and outfit looks.

This online gig has resulted in Alicia making Lakhs per day by promoting big brands such as Lounge, Boohoo, and Bershka.

The 17-year-old told The Mirror: “It gave me something to do during the pandemic when I wasn’t studying for my A-levels.

“If I’m now able to make £10,000 some days, I’m going to focus on my videos – there’s no point going to university.”

She continued: “The majority of my videos are lip syncing to music.

“None of them take too long. Even a transition video only takes an hour to make.!”
