Vikuonuo Sachü was crowned Miss Nagaland 2019 at the Miss Nagaland Beauty Pageant 2019 held at RCEMPA Jotsoma this evening. Sachü, who is also 2nd runner up of Miss Kohima 2019, pocketed a cash prize of Rs. 1.50 lakh.
She is a class 12 student of Model Higher Secondary School, Kohima. Imnasangla Ao, a BA 6th semester of St. Joseph’s Autonomous College, Jakhama, bagged 1st runner up title and pocketed Rs. 1 lakh. Viphrotsüno Kehie, MA 3rd Semester Nagaland University stood 2nd runner-up and received Rs. 70,000.
The final answer by Vikuonuo overwhelmed all other contestants and emerged as the Miss Nagaland 2019. She was asked– ‘what do you think is the biggest problem facing our youth today?’ Miss Sachu replied “The present generation has been facing a lot of problems, but one of the major problem that the youth are facing today is depression and anxiety.”
