The Nationalist Democratic Progressive Party (NDPP) has awarded the party ticket to Dr Chumben Murry for the upcoming Lok Sabha election.
This was disclosed in a press statement released by he NDPP media and communication committee.
The decision to award the party ticket to Dr Murry was taken at the NDPP parliamentary board meeting held on 2nd March 2024.
The NDPP party in the statement appealed to the people and political parties to extend support the the PDA consensus candidate for the forthcoming elections.
The meeting was chaired by Nagaland chief minister Neiphiu Rio.
Dr. Chumben Murry was formerly Minister for Agriculture. He is currently Advisor to Chief Minister.
