Agri Advisor Nagaland Release Book on Covid-19

At a well attended program held at Lotha Baptist church Dimapur, Advisor for Agriculture, Nagaland, Mhathung Yanthan released a book on Covid-19 titled “The Naga returnees, Rebuilding lives, Post Covid-19 pandemic” written by Rev. Dr. Yanbemo Lotha. On the ocassion, the Advisor also released a book titled ” Basic Lotha (Kyong Yi) English Yilanglita (Conversation), written by the same author.

The book on Covid-19 stresses on the importance of post pandemic challenges faced by Naga returnees for survival. The author encourages the Naga community to be actively engaging in promoting the living conditions of Naga returnees by contributing and letting them depend on their ability and resources.

The second book on Lotha language was written out of the author’s concern for people who face challenges in communicating their own mother tongue.

Kikheto Sema, IAS, Principal Secretary, Government of Nagaland also spoke on the ocassion and brought back memories of the pandemic, during which he led the team to receive Naga returnees in thousands. Ekonthung Lotha, Rev. Ezamo and Rev. RP Murry also spoke during the program.
