The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) on Thursday officially handed over the party ticket to Daochier I Imchen for the forthcoming by-election to the Koridang Assembly constituency in Nagaland.
The ticket was formally handed over by Nagaland BJP president Benjamin Yepthomi during a function held at the BJP Mokokchung district unit office in the presence of state party officials, PDA alliance partners, party karyakartas and well-wishers.
Daochier I Imchen is the consensus candidate of the People’s Democratic Alliance (PDA), comprising the Naga People’s Front (NPF), previously Nationalist Democratic Progressive Party (NDPP) and the Bharatiya Janata Party, and is also supported by other political parties.
