Have you given all your problems to Jesus?

I am a dreamer and a firm believer that our dreams do comes true and has meanings and messages. I am not superstitious and often forget my dreams or simply ignore it with a sigh that it was just a dream. But there are some that lingers on and they stay with you always. There are dreams that kick start your day on a high whereas some derail your mornings, it uplift moods and a few makes you wonder what it means.

I have had different kinds of dreams like any human but don’t recollect one where I dreamt about Jesus. I’ve had dreams about God but never Jesus. Last night I had a dream, a beautiful one or the best one ever, Jesus standing for me and fighting on my behalf. Here’s what I dreamt.

I was interacting with a lady sited on a chair – she had some unresolved issues between us and I challenged her to settle the issue once and for all. She gladly accepted the challenge with utmost pride. She was powerful, strong and full of conviction that she would beat me easily. As soon as she rose from her chair to face me, I started to tremble. Before I could react what was happening, she had towered my physical being with her mere presence. I got intimidated, managed to grasp her fingers and started twisting her fingers, even biting them. Nothing worked – her fingers and hands seem to be made of steel, twisting and biting them hurt my hands and even broke my teeth.

In the next few moments, things started tiding in my favor. I was able to overpower her very easily. The crowd gathered to witness our fight was shocked to see the turn of events. I got perplexed, enable to control my emotions. I was hauling her up and down, almost crushing her. I was telling the crowd that this wasn’t me and someone was assisting me, it was Jesus himself fighting on my behalf. I was powerless and had surrendered to Jesus. The crowd wouldn’t believe my words that Jesus was fighting on my side. To prove myself, I left my hand off the lady and there was the hand of Jesus, taking control and still fighting. To this, the crowd and those who were supporting my rival, remarked, show us your God, tell us more about Jesus for he is the true God and we shall too worship him. And they all bowed and worshipped Jesus.

I got up with a heart full of gratitude; God is fighting for our world on our behalf as we fight together with the invisible enemy Covid-19. Irrespective of whatever faith you profess, any God that you worship, as we continue to struggle against Covid-19, let us place all our problems – especially the virus to our God. Let him fight on our behalf and for those of you who are yet to experience Jesus, I encourage you to read about Jesus, follow him and make him your savior as well. This is my prayer and wish today. God bless.
