The message is the same but the methodology is different. Internet is the new methodology the world is hung today and the churches must reach out to the congregations through this medium drawing them closer to God in these perilous times as there is no other way to minister personally. Use technology.
For many of us who would still be thinking of going for online services and still needs more help to understand on different methodologies whether it is biblical or spiritual, here is a very classic example from the story of the birth of Jesus Christ.
The birth of Jesus Christ was announced by the ANGELS to the shepherds, and by a STAR to the wisemen from the east, both happened at the same time in history.
Shepherds would have not understood the sign of a star which was a usual sight during the night. In Israel, people were eagerly looking for a Messiah to deliver them from the Roman bondage. There was a long gap of 400 years that God went silent and never spoke to them. Shepherds believe in the mosaic law and could understand of the message of the angels and so God used the methodology of sending the message of the birth of Jesus Christ to the shepherds through a Heavenly Host of Angels.
Wisemen could better understand the study of the stars as they were astrologers. They have a better knowledge of different kind of stars, and this one bright shining star was uniquely different from among the other stars in the sky, that had brought them all the way from the east till where Jesus was in the town of Bethlehem. They never lost the sight of that Star all along their way until they found Jesus.
The message is the same of the birth of Jesus Christ, but the methodology was different to the shepherds and the wisemen. God uses Technology in the present times to reach unto the souls.
