Odd-Even system for vehicles in Dimapur starting May 11

To keep a check on traffic jams in the state’s commercial hub, the Dimapur police has decided to implement Odd-Even system for all vehicles – cars and two wheelers.

In an order, Commissioner of Police R. Tetseo informed that the order will be effective from May 11 to May 17.

ODD
Vehicles ending with Odd registration numbers (1,3,5,7,9) allowed on Monday, Wednesday and Friday.

EVEN
Vehicles ending with even registration numbers (2,4,6,8,0) allowed on Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday.

Exemption
Vehicles exempted through various Govt notifications.
