27 BSF jawans test positive for Coronavirus in Tripura

Tripura chief minister Biplab Kumar Deb announced on Twitter that 13 persons from 138th-Bn Border Security Force (BSF) in Ambassa has been found COVID19 positive on Tuesday including 1 Mess worker.

Total #COVID19 positive cases in Tripura stands at 42 (2 already discharged, so active cases : 40)

There is no POSITIVE case among civilians.

Dhalai district, which was a green zone till Saturday, has now been declared a red zone today.

Tripura had declared the state as “coronavirus free” about a week ago after two COVID-19 positive persons recovered and were discharged.

The Chief Minister said that No civilians have been found COVID positive and asked them to not panic. Total COVID19 positive cases in Tripura stands at 42.
