Pinnacle Skills conducts seminar on Skill development & Unemployment in Peren

A daylong seminar was conducted on 14th October by Pinnacle Skills at Peren Village Council Hall in collaboration with Peren Youth Organization on the theme “Skill Development and Unemployment problem”.

Speaking at the seminar Mr. James Kithan, Operations Coordinator – Pinnacle Skills, stressed on the importance of skill based training and the unemployment problem in Nagaland. He also spoke on the different trainings that are provided by the Central and State Government for the youths of Nagaland with job opportunities across India.

Lamenting on the lack of industries and corporate bodies in Nagaland, Kithan encouraged the youths to take the opportunities that are provided by the government. He also highlighted on the ratio of job vacancies that are provided by the state government and the number of graduates and post graduates that pass out every year.

Kithan stressed that youths should take up Skill training in different sectors and make themselves independent and not burden the family, society or Government.

Earlier, the seminar was chaired by the Finance Secretary of Peren Town Youth Organization (PTYO). Office bearers of PTYO also attended the seminar along with members from different youth organizations around Peren.
